OK, so it’s generally a bit of? a chore but food shopping is the cornerstone of our health. I like the expression “garbage in, garbage out”, and that starts with your shopping.

In my E-book I talk about knowing your enemies, one of which is food marketing.? The clever psychological tricks used in product advertising also extends to supermarkets.? For this reason I really advocate the use of online grocery shopping services (not for fresh fruit & veg), but if you prefer to walk in to a supermarket then go there straight after a meal. Having a full belly will help you resist temptations.

I’ve broken the shopping list in to sections and indicated specific shops to try if your regular local shop doesn’t stock it.? If you have any problems sourcing things then please drop me a mesasge and I’ll try to help you out.

Fruit

Avoid sweet fruit such as melons, oranges, grapes and mangoes.? You can eat one piece (or portion the size of the palm of your hand) of fruit a day.? I suggest apples, pears, bananas, berries, kiwifruit and pineapple.

Vegetables

Vegetables (have lots of brassica family veggies such as spinach, broccoli, brussel sprouts, and green leafy varieties to increase liver detoxification).? You can eat as much of these as you like.? Buy from an organic farmers market if possible. [kleo_grid type=”2|3|4|5|6″ animation=”yes”][kleo_feature_item]
